Hello, my name is Dr. Alison Defilippi, and I am ecstatic you stumbled onto my website. I am practicing general dentistry in Reno and would love to see you as a patient. I was born and raised in Reno, and as a sixth-generation Nevadan, I will always call this place home. I graduated from Sage Ridge High School, then attended the University of Nevada, Reno where I graduated early with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Biology. I then moved to Las Vegas to attend the University of Nevada Las Vegas School of Dental Medicine, and came right back home to Reno to start practicing what I love–dentistry!
I knew I wanted to be a dentist ever since I was six years old, and I never faltered in that dream. Getting patients out of pain and giving them the ability to function and live a healthy life is so rewarding. I love being able to give someone a beautiful, healthy smile they are proud of; as the saying goes, a smile is the best accessory you can wear!
When I’m not fixing someone’s pearly whites, I’m spending most of my time with my husband Hayden and our three bird dogs out hunting. We have two Spanish pointers and an English setter, so they are some high-energy dogs! If I’m not out in the wilderness trying to tire the dogs out, you can find me reading a good book, or lounging on the couch with some popcorn and a show.
